Sue McAullay – Director
Sue McAullay has worked in publicity and promotions for more than 25 years, during which time she has been devising and steering strategic communication campaigns for some of the world’s most reputable brands and most recognizable faces.
Sue’s career began at EMI Records in the early 1980s and then Mushroom Records, Australia’s largest independent record label. Sue rose through the ranks at Mushroom to become the Head of Publicity, a role which she held for 15 years. She was directly responsible for shaping the careers of countless local and international success stories.
Sue also represented Mushroom Records on the ARIA Awards’ Board of Governors for ten years. Her dedication, skill and professionalism is second to none and Sue has carved for herself a solid gold reputation with her many clients and the national media.
In 1999 Sue launched her own independent PR consultancy, SueMacMedia, and cast her net beyond the music field to also encompass celebrity brands and major charity organisations. We’ve been creating awareness and delivering successful publicity campaigns for a number of big name clients, among them Universal Music, Woodford Folk Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Blues on Broadbeach, Groundwater Country Music Festival, Girls Night In (Cancer Council), Dry July and The Fred Hollows Foundation.
“We like to work with people who are switched on and who are equally enthusiastic and creative. We believe work shouldn’t be a chore; you should love what you do and have fun while doing it! Above all, we do our utmost to achieve outstanding results for our clients and get the right message in front of the right people.” says Sue McAullay.
